When I upgraded to Version 7 on Chrome and the Mac app, I was forced to change the master password for 1Password on Chrome. But the master password for the Mac app remain unchanged. I want to make them both the same. I want to change the password for the Mac App to match the password from the Chrome extension.

1Password Version: Mac app: 7.3.2
Extension Version: 4.7.5.90
OS Version: OS X 10.13.6

    Hi @billbache!

    When you upgraded to 1Password 7, did you by chance create an account on 1Password.com too, as part of the upgrade process?

    I think I did create an account, but it was on https://my.1password.com. The notes I keep say that when I upgraded to 1Password 7, I enrolled in a membership for $2.99/month and that the login URL was https://my.1password.com. That's when I created the new password. I think I was forced to create a new one and not use the one I had been using for the Mac app.

    What I do know is that all 659 of my logins are available on both the Mac app and the Chrome extension.

    What would you think about my deleting the app on my Mac and reinstalling it? I have the Secret Key that I got when enrolled in the membership.

    @billbache:

    Thank you for the confirmation! There might be an easier way to do this: inside your 1Password for Mac app, do you still have your old Primary vault?
