Now that the 1password6 mini does not function in the Safari browser....I have changed to Firefox. However once the extension is installed....1password opens without a master password. ie. its no longer secure from any other person who may use the computer...including an intruder. Is this the experience of others ? I'm happy to use 1Password 6 from my Applications folder....but just wondered in the lack of security in eg another browser such of Firefox is 'just the way it is "

Thanks

    Hi @sogni!

However once the extension is installed....1password opens without a master password

This has always been the case in every browser: the browser extension is connected to the desktop app, so if the main 1Password app is unlocked, the browser extension will also be unlocked.

If you lock 1Password for Mac, you will see that the Firefox browser extension will immediately lock too.
