When I try to purchase 1Password 7, I am told I already have a membership. I don't.

I never made it through the signup process, never paid and never received a secret key. However, when I try to signup, I am told I already have a membership.

    You can delete any memberships that might exist for your email address by following the prompts here:

    https://my.1password.com/support

    If you put in your email address there it should email you a list of any accounts that have been created using that email address, with an opportunity to delete them. Please let me know how it turns out.

    Ben,
    I went through the signup process and received my Emergency Kit. When I go to add the information to my 1Password 7 application, I get the error message "The request timed out." after a couple of minutes.

    Ben,
    After a few minutes I received an email that my account was activated. I went to the pref screen and all was fine. Now I pick up my iPhone 11 Pro to activate it. I scan the code, enter my master password. I then get an error message on the iPhone that the Secret Key is invalid. How, I just scanned the code.

    I used a link to my iMessages account. Using that worked. Thank up for your time.

  • I'm glad to hear you were able to find a solution. I would still recommend verifying that you are able to log in at the https://my.1password.com website using the details you have to be sure things are set up correctly. :)
