Sometimes the icon appears in input fields, but mostly it doesn't. How does that work?

Mostly, the icon doesn't appear in input fields, but sometimes it does. It's much nicer when it does. How does this work?

Also, sometimes autofill populates both fields, sometimes not. Why?

Finally, after auto-fill, some of your competitors essentially hit the Enter key for me. It's a nice touch. Is there a way to achieve that?
