Where is the opvault file stored in Mojave?

I went to ~/Library/Application Support but there isn't a 1Password folder there. Do I have to create one? I'm trying to copy my 1Password.opvault from my iMac running High Sierra (the max it can) to my new-to-me MacBook Pro running Mojave.

1Password Version: 7.3.2
Extension Version: 4.7.5.90
OS Version: Mac OS 10.14.6

  • Hi @romad

With 1Password 7 there is no opvault file unless you're using Dropbox or folder sync:

    Sync your 1Password data

If the intention is just to sneaker-net your data from one computer to the other, and not keep them in sync, you could set up a temporary folder sync to your Desktop folder which will create an OPVault. You can then bring that over to the new computer and import it.

    Hi, Ben
Since my iMac is my main computer, I plan on continue to sync it to my iPhone using my local WiFi network. Then, on an as needed basis, I'll periodically sync my iPhone to the MacBook Pro via WiFi to keep the MBP up to date. This basically what I've been doing previously with my old MacBook Air.

BTW, I've already copied the opvault from the iMac to the MBP via the Finder and WiFi.
