OS Chrome extension not allowing character entry during login when on external monitor

Options

ISSUE: When attempting to login to the 1Password X (1.17.0) extension on Chrome (Version 79.0.3945.79 (Official Build) (64-bit)), if the browser window is located on an external monitor then it will prevent the user from entering in password information. As soon as the window is dragged back onto the main devices screen, the text field indicator starts blinking again and password entry is possible.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1. On an already opened and used chrome browser window that is not signed into 1Password, drag the window onto an external monitor.
2. Click on 1Password Chrome Extension Icon and make sure text field is selected.
3. Attempt to type into the text field, are you able to successfully?
4. Drag same window back onto main device screen
5. Attempt #3 again, are you able to successfully?

Hey @dshift! Thanks for the report. There's currently a bug in Chromium that causes some lag in extensions that have pop-ups while using an external display. If you're curious about the issue, you can check it out here.

We've done what we can to help the Chromium team which included making a barebones extension with only a text field in a pop-up just to see if it happened there to. It did, so now we're in a bit of a bind waiting for Chromium to get the issue resolved. I'm sorry I don't have a better solution in the meantime, but the good news is that your Master Password is being typed even though you can't see it. Typing your Master Password and pressing enter allows you to sign in or you can always move the browser window over to your primary display.
