Pacific Blue Cross Three Field Login Form

Pacific Blue Cross seems to have updated their login form and I can't get 1Password to save the three fields needed for login.

Login Form: https://service.pac.bluecross.ca/member/login/

I've read the following two threads where people have previously had problems saving a login for PBC:

Mar 2017 - https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/76629/fill-submit-to-pacific-blue-cross-site
Sep 2016 - https://discussions.agilebits.com/discussion/69878/pacific-blue-cross-caresnet-requires-two-identification-fields

plus https://support.1password.com/save-login-manually/

I've attempted saving the login manually multiple times and each time it has been unsuccessful.

    Hello @wce,

So I can confirm that 1Password is making a meal of what should be a simple page. Can you try the following for me please and see if you find it works.

    1. Download this 1PIF (1Password Interchange Format) file to your Desktop. If using Safari rename the file and remove the .txt that Safari weirdly adds to the filename.
    2. Drag the 1PIF file to the 1Password icon in the macOS dock to import into the active vault. If All Vaults is active it will use the default vault for saving (Vaults tab in 1Password's preferences).
    3. Locate the imported item, it will have a tag with the import date.
    4. Enter edit mode and click the View Saved Form Details button.
    5. Replace the placeholder values with your real account credentials.
    6. Save.

Hopefully you find this item works for you and correctly fills all three fields. If you have any trouble doing so please let me know.

Thanks in advance for the support with this issue.

As in the OP, I am trying to set up the same three fields in 1password for Bluecross's Ios app and web app.

I have been following the instructions laid out in the steps above.

    • I am downloading the 1pif file. (When viewed as a file, it seems to have all the correct fields).
    • Import the ".1pif" into 1password 7 (1Password 7 Version 7.4.1 (70401001) Mac App Store)
    • Find the file in 1 password
    • Open the file
    • Edit file ( See photo) there seem to be no additional fields in the 1password app. It does not populate the correct fields.

I know Pac-blue cross has updated their app and web app. Is there a way to create a new .1pif file? Unless there is something else that I am missing.

    Please help.

  • @bambam624, are you actually importing the 1PIF file, or are you adding that file as a Document item in 1Password? Try adding it to 1Password by going to File > Import > Older 1Password > Using the Mac App > Select File. Let me know how that goes or if you've tried that already.
