1P closing before I have a chance to select a login (iOS)

When I open Safari or an app on my iPhone, I select Passwords above the keyboard then 1Password and then I use touch ID to unlock 1Password. I then see all my logins in my vault and have exactly 1 second to search and select the right logon before 1P closes and I find myself back on the login screen of the app/safari. Why does this happen? How can I get 1P to stay open until I select the login?

    Is this happening even if you don't do anything after you use Touch ID? Does the AutoFill window close even if you don't select anything?
