I have mostly used Google Chrome. Due to recent malware issues, I must now work with Edge but I can't get Ctrl+\ to enter username and password when using 1Password. Please help me because 1Password not working with Edge is a major issue. I don't want to have to enter memorized usernames and password or look them up every time.

Detailed help to resolve this issue will be appreciated.

  • Hey @paldossantos. I'm sorry to hear about the troubles you had with Chrome. I'd recommend giving the new Chromium-based Edge (affectionately coined "Edgium") a try and installing 1Password X in that. The Chromium-Edge browser should be officially released soon and will replace the older Edge browser. I think you'll like the browser experience itself, and the 1Password experience there is much nicer.

You can grab the new Edge here:

And 1Password X in Edge once you've installed it:

Let me know if you're not open to this approach for some reason, though I really suggest giving it a spin, or if this doesn't end up working for you.

Edge Beta performs much more seamlessly with 1Pwd than the standard Edge or Google Chrome have ever worked. So far, I'm very pleased with your recommendation. Thanks, Michael!

  • Hey @paldossantos, I'm glad to hear things are working well in the Edge Beta. Let us know if you need anything else!
