There's no way to open the password generator on demand.

If I need to generate a password, and I'm at a place on a site that the Password Generator doesn't recognize and automatically open, I have had to open another browser tab and go to 1Password.com, then scroll down to "Learn More" and click on Password Generator there. Users need to be able to open Password Generator on demand, then set password length and characters allowed to suit the requirements of the site they are using.

    Hi @llbehar!

    You can use the password generator directly within 1Password X, even when it doesn't show up automatically for you. Just click on the + button in 1Password X:

    And then on the Password Generator button:
