I am trying to set up my new mac. I cannot locate my secret key can you help

I bought a new macbook and cannot figure out how to transfer my license. I cannot locate my secret key. I dont know how to sign into my account.

1Password Version: 6.8.9
Extension Version: I dont use them
OS Version: 10.14.16
Sync Type: dont sync

    Hi @typeinjulie,

    Secret Keys are exclusive to 1Password membership accounts. If you do not have a subscription membership then you won't have a Secret Key. Instead you would need to select one of the other options from the welcome screen in order to set up your new Mac. Please note that 1Password 7 for Mac requires either a membership or a separate license from 1Password 6. Membership is the recommended way forward - we're no longer advertising licenses.

    That is a pretty good idea, so long as it isn't the only place you're keeping your credentials. We'd recommend taking advantage of the Emergency Kit:
