1Password system tray icon keeps disappearing!

Options

Hello!

I'm running 1Password v7.3.712 on my laptop which is running Windows 10 v1909. 1Password happily starts up when I logon to Windows and the icon appears as expected in the system tray. However, more often than not, if I hibernate the laptop (which I do most nights) when I log back into Windows the next morning the 1Password system tray icon has disappeared. 1Password is still running (I can hit Ctrl+Shift+\ to open 1Password) but I prefer using the system tray icon to open the app.

Is this expected behaviour?

Kind regards,

/Neil

    Hi @BrisbaneMango,

    Thanks for reporting this.

No, it isn't expected. That usually means your Windows Explorer process has restarted (meaning it may have crashed) and 1Password didn't reattach itself to the notification tray. The latter is expected for now, it's been reimplemented in the latest 1Password 7.4 betas which is coming soon to the stable channel.

If you'd like, you can give 1Password 7.4 beta a try and see if it works better for you.
