Genrated password not saved and lost

I have a MacBook air ( MacOS High Sierra 10.13.6) using icloud to sync (I think) and I am using 1Password7 Version 7.4.3. I tried to change a password for my Broker account and I am sure I saved it but in the login section of my 1Password the old password appears (which is used for two other sites and I was changing it at the suggestion of 1Password) and it will no longer open the account on the website. I normally use Google Chrome as my browser (1Password Extension Version 4.7.5.90Please help. Take pity on an elderly client. Kind regards from Barcelona
