two computers using 3.9.2 using different dropbox locations?

I have 3.9.2 installed on a two macs and a windows machine. They are all using dropbox/1Password.agilekeychain.

Tonight I installed 3.9.2 directly - not through updates - on a new macbook air. Now this version is using dropbox/1Password/1Password.agilekeychain

Obviously this isn't good because this new computer isn't using the "shared" keychain.

Why are two different versions of the MAS3.9.2 not using the same location?

Thanks
Greg

The old location in the root of your Dropbox folder has been "grandfathered in". New installations of 1Password will detect this if Dropbox is already installed and finished syncing when you first run 1Password. If not, you can simply double-click the 1Password.agilekeychain file to open it in the latest installation of 1Password.

We changed the default location of the data file for Dropbox syncing to allow folks to take advantage of Dropbox's "shared folders" feature to share a data file between two different Dropbox accounts if desired. This is not possible if the data file is in the root of the Dropbox folder but instead requires that the data is in a subfolder.
