unable to scan setup code after upgrade to ipad os 13.4.1

hello
i had trouble signing in with the master password online, the ipad version still worked. therefore i saved all the passwords, then deleted the account. now i created a new account and wanted to connect it with the authenticater app. i am asked to scann the QR code. when i scan with the camera of the ipad, the screen of the authenticater turns black and it won't react anymore. i deleted the app and downloaded it to have the latest version, but i still get the same response. can you help?

    Can you please make sure that 1Password has camera permissions under iOS Settings > Privacy > Camera?
