Verification Phishing??

I originally signed up with a capital letter for the first character of my email address and received this

And last night in the middle of the night I received this Thanks for signing up!
You're almost ready to go. Click this button to verify your email address and finish setting up your 1Password account. Came to same email account

But in the email it was for a lower case email first character
b.......gmail.com

It came from accounts@1password.com

Could there be 2 different accounts with the same email but with different case characters?

Is someone trying to set up another account under my email (with lower case)
