1Password says the safari extension isn't installed but it is.

No icon in the menu bar, no access to password when using Safari except copy/paste, which defeats the whole purpose of 1Password. Everything works in Chrome, Firefox, Brave and windows browsers. Can't uninstall the extension without uninstalling 1Password.

1Password Version: 1Password 7 Version 7.5 (70500002) Mac App Store
Extension Version: Who knows?
OS Version: macOS Catalina 10.15.4
Sync Type: 1Password

    Hi @johnski! Welcome to the forum!

    If you open the 1Password Preferences > General tab, is the setting named Show 1Password in the menu bar checked?

    Yup. Sometimes the icon flashes on and off again.

    @johnski:

    Thank you for the confirmation. Can you please try quitting 1Password completely (right-click on 1Password mini in the menu bar at the top right of your screen > Quit 1Password Completely), and then relaunch 1Password? Does the extension behave in the same way afterwards?

    Done all that. Restarted the MacBook multiple times. Same every time.
    I asked on Twitter last night. They advised all of this and then to contact support on email with this subject. [#ZPL-72618-738].

  • Thanks @johnski. To avoid further duplication of efforts let's continue in that email thread. We'll be in touch soon.
