Unable to use "op get item option"

I am trying to automate some of our routine task and since we are storing 1password as our vault, so using onepassword command line for the password retrieval.
I am taking reference from here

The problem which I am facing is related to extracting of password using uuid. Its not working for me somehow.
Below is the command I am using.

op get item --fields password
is actual uuid, extracted from the vault.

Getting below error
[LOG] 2020/05/31 19:47:13 (ERROR) unknown flag: --fields
Usage:
op get item [flags]

Flags:
-h, --help get help for get item
--include-trash Include items in the Trash. Always on for an item specified by UUID.
--share-link Return a shareable link for the item.
--vault Look for the item in . Specify by UUID or name.

Any Idea what could be missing here ?

    I'm sorry for the trouble. The fields flag wasn't introduced until v1.0. Please try updating to the latest version:

    Thanks Ben. I have updated the op version to 1.0 and fields are working now.

    1.0.0
