  • @landia Can you let me know the make and model of the device, what version of Android you're running, and what version of the Play Store you have installed? Also, do you have any other pending updates in the Play Store?

    So quick answer !

    Model device : OnePlus 7 Pro
    Version Android : 10.0.5
    Version Play Store : 20 4 18

    No pending updates, now, but yes, it was the case before. But when I stop this update, others were updated without problems.

    So now, 1password is uninstalled and stioll blocked at 87%

    But I don't know if I take the 7.4.1 if the problem is still here.
    I suppose not, because I used it without problems. I even engage for a year subscription so, it's a good software.

  • @landia Thanks for the info. Can you please reboot your phone and try updating again?

    @landia:

    90% Now.

    And is this after the reboot that peri suggested?

    Yes or course.

    As I couldn't use my password, I deleted all my phone.

    Use the apk of the previous

    No choice !

    There's a problem

    @landia:

    Thank you for the confirmation.

    Use the apk of the previous

    What happens if you try to install 1Password for Android directly from the store instead?

    Nothing !
    At 99% now (after having installed apk), it stopped now.

    As I deleted all (even SMS wtf) all applications except Chrome and 2 or 3 apps (surprised) were installed without problems. It's the case sometimes, on this point Android is not as good as iOS.

    Chrome and others apps stopped too at 90-95%. But it was the case in the past but never stopped.

  • @landia Sorry to hear this. I wouldn't recommend using a separate APK, as we can only guarantee 1Password when installed through the Play Store. Though, I believe this issue is with the Play Store rather than 1Password.

    Do you happen to have a Google backup you can restore from?

    In fact, I was in Apple before, and that's right, I could restore it : but it block at 90%...

    I often fear that even with formatting, the installation is not "clear".
    Apk is sure, I use one of the more serious site (APKMirror)

    Anyway, this is my fault np :)

  • @landia Were you eventually able to get 1Password installed?

    Yes with apkmirror.
    No with Google play. Impossible by the common way.

    Thank you for the update @landia! If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out anytime.

    Have a wonderful day :)

  • @landia We can't guarantee 1Password when installed through any 3rd parties, so I'd strongly recommend trying to get it again from Google Play. Please give it another try and let me know if you're able to install it now.
