You do need your master password. The secret key isn't enough.
If you are using the same computer as always, the secret key will be stored on the machine and does not need entering again.
Have you made any changes on your machine(s)) lately? Such as changing the keyboard layout, for instance.
Details of your setup (which version of 1PW, what OS, etc) are worth including, as they can help the AgileBits staff staff solve problems.
