Help with disabling Chrome password manager

Options

Hello,

I am trying to use the 1password chrome extension, but the Chrome password manager is getting in the way and visibly blocks the 1password box for suggesting/saving passwords etc. I have gone into Chrome settings and turned off "offer to save passwords" as well as "auto-sign in". It is basically preventing me from using the 1password extension altogether. I have tried using both 1password extension and 1passwordX. Also, this problem persists on both my Mac and Windows PC.

Has anyone had luck with this? or does anyone recommend a different browser like Firefox or something?

Thank you for any help you are able to provide!

JJ

Hey @JJ77! Turning off the built-in password manager in Chrome unfortunately doesn't stop already saved logins from being presented. You'll need to remove the passwords in order for them not to be suggested by Chrome. This can be done here:

    chrome://settings/passwords

Let me know if this doesn't solve the issue for you.
