Best Place to Save PINs?

Dear 1Password,

Where is the best place to store personal identification numbers/passcodes that aren't full-fledged passwords? I have in mind two kinds.

The first type is one that's associated with a login. My bank card, for instance, has a PIN that I use when I withdraw money from an ATM.

The second type is one that isn't associated with an account. My iPad, for instance, has a six-digit passcode that I have to enter when I turn it off and on.

I recognize different people probably store these in different ways; I'm just curious as to what other people do.

Wishing you health,

Michael

    Hi @michael2!

I personally use two different methods for your two examples.

The first type is one that's associated with a login. My bank card, for instance, has a PIN that I use when I withdraw money from an ATM.

For this, I add a custom field inside my bank login or my credit card item.

The second type is one that isn't associated with an account. My iPad, for instance, has a six-digit passcode that I have to enter when I turn it off and on.

These items go in my Passwords category instead, since by default they only contain password items without a username.
