Feature request: use standard ("well-known") URL for changing password

Maybe I've overlooked something in 1Password, but it would be great to get on board internet standards like these to make password management less laborious. https://github.com/WICG/change-password-url

Ideally 1password would provide a single click that:

  • generates a new password
  • tries to update your password via ".well-known/change-password"
  • if successful, updates the password in your vault

    Hey there @oggy , thanks for the great feedback.

    We have been watching the progress on the change password URL very closely, and have already adopted it for our website. (Just visit https://start.1password.com/.well-known/change-password to be taken straight to the password change form).

    While I won’t promise future functionality, having our apps make more use of this special URL is something we’re very interested in doing. Cheers!
