1password invisible files in Dropbox

I see in the DropBox folder the following:
.ws.agile.1password.settings with an old date
1Password.agilekeychain

I guess that .ws.agile.1password.settings can be removed but want to be sure
I am using 1Password (from MacApp store) on Lion and iPhone.
And previously used 1Password 3.8 on Mac OS X 10.6

That file should not be removed unless you want to break syncing with your iPhone. It tells the mobile apps where to find your 1Password data file in your Dropbox folder.

Fortunately, if you do delete the .ws.agile.1Password.settings file, 1Password for Mac will recreate it next time you open the app.

As with all files that start with a period, it is hidden by default in UNIX-based operating systems (like OS X).

I hope that helps. Let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

Thanks. I thought that it had to do with 1Password 3.8.
May I suggest that you put this info in the knowledge base along with what and where other 1password files are stored?

Thanks for the suggestion. Most users will never see it since it is a hidden file, but there are plenty of existing threads even in this very forum which explain it if you just do a Google search for ".ws.agile.1Password.settings". I'll see if there is a good spot to put it in the User Guide. :)

    Cheers,
