Safari extension causing system freezes?

Am running 1Password 3.820 under Mountain Lion with Safari 6.02 and the extension downloaded from Agilebits. Have been struggling with this problem for a while now, where my Macbook Air will just give me a SBBOD after running for a while. It took me until tonight to localize the problem to 1Password, as I've been having similar problems on a Mac Pro running 1Password, but my wife runs 1Password on her Macbook Pro without issue. However, it turns out that she doesn't use the browser extensions, but rather copies and pastes from the program. Tonight the SBBOD came on immediately after accessing the Safari extension. Is this a known problem? Is there any workaround that you could suggest short of running without the extension -- I really enjoy having 1Password integrated into my browser, but the frequent forced restarts are a drag.

Thanks,

Jon

Welcome to the forums, Jon! Thanks for taking the time to contact us. I'm sorry that you are having some trouble.

I'm not seeing anything in the log entries you posted that indicates a problem. The load time indicated is a fraction of a second. I think it's even lower than what I see on my own machine. That doesn't mean there isn't a problem. Obviously something is happening on your system or you wouldn't be writing to us. However, it does mean we will need a lot more information.

To help us track down the issue, could you please send us a Diagnostics Report?

In 1Password 3.8, just select Help > Troubleshooting > Diagnostics Report from the menu bar. Then attach the entire file to an email to support AT agilebits.com.

Please include a link to this thread in order that we might more quickly "connect the dots" when we see your Diagnostics Report in our inbox.

Please do not post your Diagnostics Report in the forums, though.

Once we see the report we should be able to better assist you. Thanks!
