Administrators have blocked 1Password extension in Chrome

in 1Password 4 for Windows

Just started using GoogleApps. Unfortunately I get the following message while trying to install the Chrome browser extension:

1Password (extension ID "gkndfifopckmhdkohjeoljlbfnjhekfg") is blocked by the administrator.

Any way round this? Any words of reasoning that I can use with internal IT department?

    If there is a way to block non-Chrome Web Store extensions, I'm wondering if that is what they have done. I'd be interested to know exactly how/why the 1Password Chrome extension has been blocked. Who knows, maybe if you ask them they will find out that it was blocked unintentionally and quickly resolve the matter for you. :)
