Chrome browser extension fails to install

Trying to install the Chrome browser plugin on Windows 7, Chrome 21.0.1180.89 m. I get the error message "Package is invalid. Details: 'Invalid value for 'page_action.default_icon'.'."
This happens with all the download sites, and also when dragging the extension onto Chrome's extensions list.

    Please update to the current version of Chrome. You are six major versions behind. Also make sure you are installing the extension from 1Password's preferences on the Browsers tab. You should be all set then, but let me know if you're still having trouble in Chrome 27.
