Search by tag failes

The search by tag feature is missing a number of hits and often finds zero hits while I can see the correct tags are there. They also show up in the tags list in the left menu.

I rebuild the database to see if that would fix an indexing issue but it did not help. This is on OSX 10.7.5

Is there any way I can rebuild the tags index?

    There is no tag index to rebuild. They are part of each item in your data file. Could you post a screenshot showing what you mean? Im wondering if your search scope needs to be expanded. Here is an example:

    hello Khad,

    your screenshot rang a bell, I had the option on to search only by title instead of Everything.
    It's working again.

    (these touchpads are sensitive buggers, I was'nt aware these settings were changed)
