switched from beta to MAS upgrade- no longer syncing with dropbox and iOS

I was using the beta previously and when I upgraded the mac app store version, i trashed the beta. I am now realizing it is not syncing with dropbox even though it is point to it. Please assist me, do I need to reinstall Mac APP Store version?

    Hi, @1answer. I'm sorry you're having this trouble with Dropbox Sync.

    I posted some steps that might help at least temporarily get it working again: here (#4).

    And in this topic @MikeT suggests a similar workaround:

    @Gooner recently reported it only lasted until restarting his system.

    I'll be discussing this issue with our team.
