Cannot use Control+\ after upgrade

After upgrading to version 4 I can no longer change the default for any keyboard shortcut to include both the Control and \ keys. Previously my shortcuts were Control+Command+\ for the plugin and Control+\ for fill in on current page. Preferences no longer allows that.

What can be done to fix this? There are no conflicts in the system shortcuts. Working with OS X 10.8.5

    UPDATE: Rebooting the system after upgrading to version 4 seems to have solved this problem.
