Copy and paste password on iMessage shows different text

I copied a password from 1Password which contains the character [ and pasted it on iMessage, the [ got replaced with %5B. Tried pasting in on Viber, the character [ shows as is.

sample password : ab[Fe
pasted on iMessage : ab%5BFe
pasted on Viber : ab[Fe

Hi @tinkr,

We did a fair bit of testing on this (see this thread) and it seems, as only Apple Mail and Apple iMessage have this difficulty, that the problem is with those apps, not 1Password. Copying & pasting into other apps from 1Password works as expected.

It seems this is something Apple would need to address.
