I didn't realize this til I tried to install 1Password 4 on a new machine. for some reason iCloud sync is not working. I don't see any useful console messages. I 'm running 1Password 4 on a MacBook Air, two Mac Pro's and 3 IOS devices. I saw the alert about "reset sync" but I can't seem to find how one does that. I have tried turning off syncing on my Mac, deleting the data from iCloud, and restarting iCloud syncing, but that doesn't help. I have also tried to disable sync with the "delete data from iCloud" button checked, but that just results in a hang. Any ideas?

    Hi @mjhopkins‌,

I'm so sorry to hear that you've been having trouble getting synced up after the update. Please try resetting sync by following these instructions:

    • On your iOS devices, open 1Password 4 for iOS, tap Settings > Sync, and toggle iCloud to OFF.

    • On the Mac, open 1Password 4 for Mac, and click the 1Password menu, then Preferences. Click Sync, and click Change syncing.

    • Check the box to remove the data from iCloud and confirm that you want to disable sync.

    • Reboot the Mac and iOS devices.

    • On the Mac, go back to the Sync preferences, and enable iCloud.

    • Wait about 20 minutes to give iCloud time to run the initial sync to all devices.

    • Go back into the iOS app and re-enable iCloud sync. It should work this time.

If you're still seeing trouble, please do let us know and we'll investigate further!

Thank you Megan for replying to this. I've tried the steps you suggested, and I run into the problem I had before, this time on a different Mac. I've got iCloud sync switched off on all my IOS devices and the computers. It is only enabled on one Mac. On this Mac I go to the Sync preferences select "Delete data from iCloud" and hit the button labeled "Disable Sync". This results in the preferences panel hanging. Nothing happens, no action is being taken and it does not respond to any mouse clicks.

    Hi @mjhopkins‌,

I'm sorry that you're still having trouble with this. Please ensure that you've updated to the latest version 4.2.2, and restarted you Mac.

Then, if it's still not working, please email us a Diagnostics Report from your Mac, along with a link to this topic, to: support+forum@agilebits.com

A brief comment here mentioning that you've sent the report would also be helpful. Thanks in advance!
