Why does 1password have both "Logins" and "Passwords"? What is the intended purpose of "Passwords"?
Logins contains the information I need. Passwords seems to arbitrarily and pointlessly accumulate repetitive information about a handful of sites.

Hi @stevebreth,
The Passwords category stores passwords created by the Secure Password Generator, and filled, but for which a login item wasn't then saved. You can read about one of the useful purposes of this category here:
If you used the password generator and can't find the password to sign in - 1Password Support
If you find the information saved there is duplicated in Login items you can move those items to the trash.

The password section is great. I have a few apps that are not a login, and this is the area for it. I have the name of the app, and the password. Logins are great for websites that have a URL.
