Scan account information

Hi,

when i scan the Account Information the login address is not automatically filled.

There is only "my" filled in.

Is this normal?

  • Hey blaxxz!

    I had the same happening to me when I tried this a couple of days ago. The login address doesn't show, but it's correctly filled. If you touch on the field it'll show everything.

    Still, that's probably a little bug that the devs will iron out on an upcoming release 😉

    Hi folks,

    Where are you scanning the QR code from & to? e.x. from the ‘Get the Apps’ page to 1Password 7.0.6 for iOS.

    Hi folks,

    Please try downloading a new Emergency Kit and see if this issue persists when scanning from the new PDF:

    Get to know your Emergency Kit

    Thanks.

    @blaxxz,

    Yes. I just tried downloading a fresh Emergency Kit and it worked as expected. Could you please re-test?

    @mbk28

    Thnks for the update. Glad to hear that with a fresh Emergency Kit it works. :) As for unfreezing your account, please see this guide:

    Manage your 1Password subscription

    If you need further assistance with that please email our sales team at [email protected]. We’re not able to discuss account details here as this is a public forum. :)

    Thanks!

    I test without problem on my iPhone X, but don't know what's happened for my account, will contact the service (I know it's not here) but prefer to say, if it's a bug

    I’m not sure I understand what you mean, @mbk28. Could you elaborate?

    @blaxxz What happens if you use the Get the Apps page? https://start.1password.com/apps

    Ben

    @blaxxz,

    The Get the Apps page that I linked should also have a scannable QR code. Does it work if you scan that?

    Ah ha! I didn’t realize you weren’t using 1Password.com. Yep — I just tested this with 1Password.eu and you are correct... it doesn’t work. I’ll speak with my colleagues and see what the difficulty is here. Hopefully we can get that fixed up. :)

    Hi folks,

    I just wanted to clarify that even though the complete sign-in address is not displayed sign in should still complete successfully. Can you please confirm if your experience matches that expectation?

    @blaxxz: To be clear, this is a cosmetic issue. You should be able to sign in just fine. The app just isn't showing the full sign in address. This is something we'll be addressing, but it would be a higher priority if it prevented people from signing into their accounts, which it does not. I'm sorry for any confusion caused by this though. Thanks for your patience.
